Emma Shakespeare Purdie

For ten years Emma Shakespeare Purdie worked at the BBC primarily in the Music and Arts department. Working on Arts documentaries and magazine programmes, she gained much experience in this area.

With the beginning of BBC Online, Emma switched her attention to creating web content for the hugely successful site www.bbc.co.uk. After four years working as a Web Producer for BBC Education and BBC Arts, she left London to move to the country and bring up her family.

In 2003 she started working part-time for Monkton Combe School producing web content for their website. She is still working there on a part-time basis and this experience in creating content for a school led to the creation of the Freshford School website which launched in 2007. Emma now has several website clients, which she has produced and maintained.

Site for sore eyes was created to produce affordable websites for individuals and companies who require a web presence however small or large that may be.

Site for sore eyes is interested in all areas of web design and content management, please do get in touch if you think we could be of help.
