Oil

There is a big oil pump in Kazakhstan. It goes through China and comes out into Kazakhstan, so some parts of Kazakhstan have a big economy. In 1997 it was agreed that China and Kazakhstan would share the oil and have a pump so that other countries wouldn't steal the oil.

Gas

A pipeline of gas runs through 3 countries Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan. The capacity of the gas is 30 billion cubic metres of gas a year which is the same amount of oil that runs through China and Kazakhstan.
